(Washington, D.C. – May 11, 2009) Tomorrow, May 12, 2009, Environmental Protection Agency Administrator Lisa P. Jackson will testify before a hearing of the Senate Environment and Public Works Committee on EPA’s 2010 budget proposal. The $10.5 billion proposal, announced on Friday, takes significant steps to protect human health and the environment while improving accountability, transparency and fiscal responsibility at a time when every dollar counts.
