Thank you again for ordering a Web Hosting account through Jumpline.com, Inc.. Below you will find additional information related to the use of your new hosting service.

Included in this email is information related to:
-Updating your nameserver records
-Accessing your Control Panel
-Creating an email account
-FTP login information

Updating your Nameservers:

The first step in getting started is to make sure that your domain name is pointed to Jumpline.com, Inc.'s nameservers. If you purchased your domain from Jumpline.com, Inc., you can skip this step; if your domain is currently registered and pointed to a previous web host, you will need to update your nameservers to reflect the following information with your domain registration provider:

Primary nameserver: ns.vds2000.net
Secondary nameserver: ns2.vds2000.net

Note: It can take up to 48 hours before updates to your domain name will take effect. During this time you may not be able to access your website via your domain name.

Accessing your Control Panel:

To get started with your new Jumpline.com, Inc. hosting account, you should login to and explore the Jumpline.com, Inc. Control Panel. To login, first go to your customer manager, located at http://my.jumpline.com and click on the 'My Products' section. Now that you're viewing the Products overview, simply click the Control Panel link beside the product you are working with to get started.

Once you've logged in to your control panel, you can get started by adding your first email account.

Creating an Email Account:

To add an email account, click on 'Home' on the left side of the Control Panel, then click 'Mail' under the Services section of the page. From the Mail page, click 'Add New Mail Name', then enter the username of the email account that you would like to add (the username is the portion of the email address before the @ sign), and create a password. Additionally, be sure that the "Mailbox" check-box is selected to enable email access. Once you've filled out this page, click 'OK'. Your account is now ready to receive mail and can be configured in your email software.

When configuring your email client use the following information, along with the username and password you have just added:

Incoming mail server type: POP3
Incoming mail server name: mail.doomvs.com

Username or Account Name: username@doomvs.com
(where username is the name that you just created)
Outgoing mail server type: SMTP
Outgoing mail server name: mail.doomvs.com


FTP Login Information:

To publish your website content to your new account, enter the following information into your FTP client or publishing software:

FTP Server hostname: ftp.doomvs.com

IP Address: 64.6.225.5
FTP Username: p8r35462@doomvs.com

FTP Password: 1c29Z1WR
FTP Root directory: httpdocs/

You can use the IP address of your account instead of the hostname if your domain is not yet pointed to our nameservers.
