WEDNESDAY: U.S. EPA Administrator Lisa P. Jackson to Give Keynote Address

at Governors’ Global Climate Summit 2

   Obama Administration Official will host media availability following remarks

 

LOS ANGELES - This week, President Obama’s Administrator of the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency Lisa P. Jackson will visit California for the first time as head of the Agency.  On Wednesday, September 30, Administrator Jackson will deliver remarks at the Governors’ Global Climate Summit to discuss a wide range of EPA initiatives that include the widespread creation of green jobs, protecting children from air pollution around their schools, and cutting the harmful emissions of greenhouse gases that cause climate change -- among many others.  Following her remarks, Administrator Jackson will hold a media availability.

WHEN:            Wednesday, September 30 -- Media availability to begin at approx. 2:15PM

 

WHERE:          Hyatt Regency Century Plaza, 2025 Avenue of the Stars, Los Angeles, CA 90067 (Please RSVP for specific details)
