For our newsletters, we've tried to include some company stats. It may not be terribly obvious to everyone what the numbers are for, so let's take a look at our current September 2009 Stats in this newsletter and go over some of these statistics for our Shared Hosting & Reseller Hosting networks. Emails sent: The number of emails that were sent by HostGator clients from HostGator servers in the month of September.
Emails received: The number of incoming emails (less massive amounts of filtered spam) that arrived in the inboxes of HostGator clients in the month of September.
Domains Hosted: The number of domains that are hosted on our Shared and Reseller servers as of Sept. '09.
Total Size of Files Hosted: Pretty much is described in the name, but simply this is the amount of space that all files (html, images, MySQL DB's, and the like) are occupying on our servers. As of Sept. '09, there 609 Terrabytes of customer web site data on our servers.
Monthly Bandwidth: The amount of data transfer to and from all HostGator servers. For the month of September we transferred over 4,406 Terrabytes of Data.
