EPA Grant to Help Green the
Significantly Reducing Diesel Emissions
WHAT: EPA will present a $1.15 million grant to the Port of Pittsburgh Commission to help fund the repowering of four marine towing vessels with new, more efficient diesel engines and generators that will reduce air pollution, improve air quality and lessen overall environmental impacts. The

The boat will remain docked throughout the event.
RiverQuest's boats are docked on the Ohio River adjacent to the submarine at the
VISUAL: In addition to being on the river, marine vessels that will be repowered can be seen from the Explorer.
