EPA Awards Brooklyn Organization Grant Funds to
Better Understand and Address Air Pollution

(Brooklyn, N.Y. – Jan. 27, 2011) U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Regional Administrator Judith Enck, along with Congresswoman Nydia Velázquez will announce two EPA grants to the Brooklyn non-profit group UPROSE on Friday, January 28, 2011. The funding will help UPROSE to better understand and address air pollution and other environmental concerns in the Sunset Park, Brooklyn community. Details of the grant, including the funding levels, will be announced at the press event.
