| CORRECTION: TUESDAY: EPA, HUD, DOT and Little Rock Officials to Announce Local Sustainable Community Investments
DALLAS – (Nov. 15, 2013) Senior officials from four federal agencies, the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD), U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT), and the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA), will be joined by the mayors of Little Rock and North Little Rock and the federal co-chairman of the Delta Regional Authority at a press conference to discuss the Obama Administration's Partnership for Sustainable Communities and how it is working to support more livable and sustainable communities in the city of Little Rock and other regions of Arkansas.
The Deputies of EPA, HUD, DOT, and USDA will join local officials to tour current projects and visit the University of Arkansas Clinton School of Public Service to discuss coordinated efforts that are creating more housing choices, making transportation more efficient and reliable, and promoting healthy neighborhoods and economic development in the Little Rock area.
Later in the day, the four Deputies will discuss federal investments in Little Rock during a panel discussion at the Clinton School of Public Service.
