Confirmed cases of the H1N1 swine flu worldwide have jumped to
257, up from the previous day's total of 147, the World Health
Organization says. "It really is all of humanity that is under
threat during a pandemic," says Dr. Margaret Chan, the WHO's
director-general. The Mexican government is asking people to
stay indoors to help quell the spread of the flu.
