EPA, D.C. to Showcase Recovery Act-Funded Green Roof
One of District’s Largest Green Roofs to Reap Environmental Benefits
WHAT: EPA, DC Water, District Department of Environment and the World Wildlife Fund (WWF) will showcase American Recovery & Reinvestment Act-funded projects, such as the green roof on top of the WWF building. This and other projects illustrate how the District is using sustainable infrastructure to manage storm water. There will be an opportunity to tour the 27,750 square-foot WWF building green roof.
