Swarthmore Presbyterian is Saving Money, Saving Energy
and Preventing Air Pollution
WHAT: Swarthmore Presbyterian has reduced its energy budget by 54 percent and is now saving $25,000 a year on energy costs. The Swarthmore Presbyterian Church (SPC) will become the second congregation in the country to receive EPA’s Energy Star Congregations Award two years in a row. SPC is saving energy, saving money and helping to reduce climate change.
