U.S. EPA Earth Day Photo Project: State of the Environment

What's your camera have to say about the State of our Environment? Inspired by Documerica, a 1970s project that captured thousands of images related to environmental problems and everyday life across America, now the State of the Environment Photo Project is your chance to do the same.

Submit your best photo of your environment: where you live or where you travel. How far have we come?

Selected photos will exhibit across the country in 2012 alongside images from Documerica.

To find out how to submit your photos to the flickr group, join the Documerica "Before / After Location Challenge" and follow our project themes for more ideas and inspiration at http://www.epa.gov/environmentphotoproject

CURRENT THEME: The Sun! June 21 is the longest day of the year. Submit photos on how you’re enjoying the extra daylight hours!
