EPA Administrator Lisa P. Jackson to Attend Gary, Indiana Green Jobs Rally

WASHINGTON – On September 1 and 2, 2009, U.S. EPA Administrator, Lisa P. Jackson will visit the Gary, Indiana area to discuss green jobs and the green economy of the 21^st century.

Administrator Jackson will attend a Blue-Green Alliance Green Jobs rally on Tuesday, September 1. The rally will be held at 4:30 p.m. in McBride Hall, 1301 Texas St. in Gary. Doors open for the rally at 4:00 p.m.

Additional information on the administrator’s visit to Indiana will be provided in an upcoming advisory.
