EPA Invites the Press, Businesses and Public to the

Economy, Energy, and Environment Exposition (E3)

in Tonawanda, NY

(New York, NY – Sept. 29, 2011) The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency together with the Town of Tonawanda, the New York State Department of Environmental Conservation and the Empire State Development Corporation invite you to an exposition about innovative efforts to revitalize Tonawanda’s air quality, economy, energy, and environment. The expo and charter signing will include an introduction to the E3 Charter representatives and initiatives. E3 projects are local public-private partnerships driven by communities to coordinate and strategically target federal and state resources to assist local businesses in becoming more efficient, competitive and sustainable. The event is especially targeted towards businesses in the Town of Tonawanda. Businesses attending the expo will learn about opportunities to save money by increasing energy efficiency, reducing waste and pollution, enhancing workforce training and improving productivity. Admission is free and all are welcome.
