WASHINGTON – U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Assistant Administrators Gina McCarthy and Mathy Stanislaus will hold a press conference call today at 12:00 p.m. EST to discuss changes to EPA’s proposed rule for boilers and incinerators under the Clean Air Act. The proposed reconsideration would maintain public health protections through significant reductions in toxic air pollutants, including mercury and soot, while increasing the flexibility of the standards.
