TODAY: Press Conference Call to Discuss Proposed Changes to Boilers and Incinerators Rule

WASHINGTON –
U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Assistant Administrators Gina McCarthy and Mathy Stanislaus will hold a press conference call today at 12:00 p.m. EST to discuss changes to EPA’s proposed rule for boilers and incinerators under the Clean Air Act. The proposed reconsideration would maintain public health protections through significant reductions in toxic air pollutants, including mercury and soot, while increasing the flexibility of the standards.

Members of the press interested in participating should dial in 15 minutes prior to the call. Reporters should dial (888) 539-8821 and give the conference ID number, which is 33085268.
